Fitness Results would like to thanks Toady, KFROG, Chick-Fil-A, and the KFROG listeners for a great morning on Saturday, the 26th of January. Listeners were invited to an exclusive training session with toady who has now lost a total of 20 pounds and 28 inches overall. It was a great morning as people met with the trainers for their own personal assessments and training, while learning quite a bit about their health and how to become healthier. Toady was on board to train some more as well as speak about her own success at Fitness Results. Participants were then treated to a delectable feast of sandwiches and wraps brought by Chik-Fil-A. The winner of the free 6 weeks of training was Vanessa Rose who is more than excited to train. We will keep you posted on her success as well as post pictures from the event soon. Once again, thanks to everyone for their support.

Congratulations to Toady who has done an incredible job these past 7 weeks, reaching all her goals and completely changing her diet becoming more health conscious and more active in her lifestyle. She is just more proof that with some determination you can become the person you have always wanted to be. She’s already made great improvements and will continue to become more healthy and fit with time. Remember, you don’t always have to give up on your New Year’s resolution and it is possible to change.

    You are doing a great job! :) You’re inspiring me to get my butt on my treadmill again.

Way to go Monica!  Call me if you ever need any encouragement!  I was such a couch potato when I started… that Lance had me start off by just walking and doing some light weights.  You should enter to join me on January 26th at Fitness Results…Lance is going to do some fitness assessments, teach us about nutrition, we’ll have some Chick-fil-A and someone will win a 6 week - 3 times a week training schedule with Lance!!!!  Enter by clicking on the link to your right…and let me know how your workouts are going!

  • Thanks Christy!!!!!  I’ll try to get some pictures on the blog…as soon as I figure out how to do it! (I’m not that bright when it comes to computers!) I’ll work out with ya anytime and and we can get you over to see Lance at Fitness Results…he’ll work with you at his place or give you a program to use at your own gym or home…which I know would be easiest for ya with your little one!   He has worked wonders with me….especially with all my injuries…golfer’s elbow and a strained hamstring from BOWLING…HOW STUPID IS THAT!!  And I STILL lost weight and inches and I feel great!  Anyway…if you need a workout partner let me know!!

    I went in to see Lance at Fitness Results today…and we were scheduled to do all my statistics….my measurements, weight and body mass ratios…and…..here’s the results!!!!!

    In 7 weeks…. I have lost 11 pounds…over 7 inches…and dropped 2.5 % in body fat! I have built muscle that has helped rev up my metabolism and helps burn fat. Also…we did a cardiovascular test which showed I have improved in that area as well! What a great way to start the New Year!

    Hey Everybody…Happy New Year! This is the time of year when we all make resolutions and try to change things in our lives, hopefully for the better! My New Year’s resolution is to get healthy and get fit….the same resolution I made year after year and would eventually give up on. This year is different because I am already down 10 pounds thanks to Lance at Fitness Results! What a way to start the New Year! He’s shown me how to eat better nutritionally and got me back into exercising…and the results are…I’ve lost 10 pounds so far! I know I’ve lost inches as well because I bought a leather motorcycle jacket at Slap’n Leather about 3 weeks ago…and when I put it on to go riding…it was too big! I had to exchange it for a smaller one…but get this…I went down 2 sizes!!!! Woohooooo!I wanna’ know what your resolutions are…what you are doing to reach your goals… and if you have any helpful tips for me. We are thinking of having a party at Fitness Results so that you can come meet Lance and learn about his programs…let me know if you would like to go! There is no reason why we all can’t get healthy and in better shape this year!

    Monday morning I got up and got on the scale…and I lost 1.5 pounds !! Finally…I am getting back on track. I went to the gym because I knew I would be sitting on a plane for 5 hours in the afternoon and wouldn’t have a chance to do anything later. I did the treadmill first to get the blood flowing to my leg…and as usual…the first 15-20 minutes were tough…but then it felt better and I went for 60 minutes! Then I did my Upper Body workout…although I couldn’t lift as much as I usually do on the Triceps pull-down. I felt pretty good when I was done…I know my Sister will have plenty of food at her house so I had to get that workout in to counteract all the food she’ll have. I also know that I’ll be sitting around an airport that won’t have much healthy stuff…soooooo…Lance…you should know that I brought some protein bars with me so I wouldn’t be tempted at the airport! I’m glad I got a nice long workout in before I left.

    It was a good day! I felt better and went to the gym and did my Upper body/ Day 1 workout and was feeling pretty good…so I got on the treadmill…and it was like my injured leg wasn’t my own! It was like I had a Pirates peg-leg and I had to swing it around to make it work! I had to start really slow and kind of drag it forward to keep moving! What’s up with that! I decided to keep going because Lance said to work it…so after about 30 minutes it started to actually loosen up and work properly! I continued to walk…even adding some speed…and I made it to 60 minutes.

    Saturday and Sunday were quite busy getting everything done before I leave for Chicago to see my family for Christmas….I only got to do some outdoor walking for 30 minutes each day. But I was cleaning the garage, sweeping and walking through the mall for hours…that counts as exercise…right? My leg was stiff but loosened up after a while…I guess I have to expect that.

    I did my stretching today and my lower body workout..using the light weights that Lance had instructed me to use. My leg felt a little sluggish but I did all the exercises and then I did a slow 30 minutes on the treadmill. My injured leg wasn’t quite functioning properly…it was a little stiff and it felt like I had to throw it in front of me to keep going! That’s why I only did 30 minutes on the treadmill. I then went home and did some more stretching…which reallyyyyy hurt. I know I have to do it though to get better…but MAN it hurt!

    Wednesday I went to see Lance and he got me doing some light weights for my injured leg…it felt better actually when we got done! We changed the order of my upper body workouts and he gave me some alternative exercises for certain muscle groups…such as…a pully for my deltoids instead of doing the weight machine. I am still disappointed that I injured myself….but I am determined to get better and keep on my program. I HAVE been eating more fruits and vegetables…not as many as I should…but I have to start somewhere! I try to have a salad at least once a day..I love apples…so I have one of those a day as well. We also talked about antioxidants and Goji berries…which I’ve been reading a lot about. Lance will have to give you his take on those.I then had an appointment at physical therapy for my arm…two workouts in one day…and Jeff gave me more stretching for my leg. At the end of the day I was exhausted….but my leg and arm felt better!
